The Coolidge Effect




As the story goes, President Calvin Coolidge and the First Lady were visiting a farm. While Mr. Coolidge was elsewhere, the farmer was showing Mrs. Coolidge his prize rooster. The farmer reportedly said to the First Lady that the rooster could "copulate all day, day after day." Mrs. Coolidge, apparently thinking that the president was slipping in the libido compartment, asked the farmer to point this out to the president.

When the president was told of the sexually active rooster, he thought for a moment and then asked the farmer, "Does the rooster always copulate with the same chicken?" The farmer replied that he did not. To which the president replied that he should point this out to Mrs. Coolidge.

If you place a female rat in a cage with a male rat, the male rat will immediately attempt to copulate. However, after a while the male rat will satiate on this female and sexual activity will steadily decrease. Eventually, he will no sexual interest in her what-so-ever.

However, if a new female rat is placed into the cage, the male rat will again become sexually excited. If you continue to place new female rats into his cage, he will nearly copulate himself to death. This behavior pattern became known as the Coolidge Effect and has been shown to exist in all mammals. Today it might be called the Tiger Woods Effect.

The Coolidge Effect occurs in both sexes, but appears more pronounced in males. And I have heard people say that males are more sexually active than females. But how could this be?

If we assume that most males have sex with females, then the ratio is one-to-one. This would mean that sexual activity is equal among the sexes. This would hold true unless males are having sex with other males, cows, sheep or goats; or, if they are all having sex with the same female.

The Coolidge Effect doesn't lend itself to monogamy. At the very least it causes one to fantasize of another during sex. How can the Coolidge Effect be altered or controlled to promote marital fidelity?

Scientist say that sexual activity, like most other pleasures, involve the neurotransmitter dopamine. It is not the ice cream, the cocaine, or the fine looking babe at work that we crave. It is the surge of dopamine in our brain.

To promote sexual fidelity, a dopamine compound should be inserted into the female vagina. This compound could be bound chemically so that it can only be released by another specific chemical (the lock and key idea). This chemical could be in cream form and applied to the male penis. The compound and cream could be specific to each other and different from other compounds and creams. Once the penis is inserted into the vagina, the cream reacts with the compound releasing a flood of dopamine that is absorbed into the blood steam of both partners. Since the compound and cream are specific to each other, the dopamine rush could only occur with that partner. Therefore, psychologically, we would crave only that partner.

I don't understand women. I think every man has said that at one time or another. I don't understand the way they dress. Tittie physics has the breast squeezed into what has to be a painful positioning. High heel shoes can't be comfortable. And those fish looking lips? They inject them using needles! They make women look retarded. But maybe retarded is sexy. Maybe men want to have sex with women who are too stupid to resist. I don't think I ever looked at it that way, but I actually wanted to have sex with any pretty woman, smart, dumb, or both. And while both sexes are afflicted by some degree of vanity, it seems vanity hits the female sex much harder.

I have read that men are more sexually active than women. But unless men are fucking monkeys or goats, the ratio would have to be close to 50/50. Men just like to fuck. I think women want to be fucked. And this disappoints me a bit.

I guess there are young men who hang around famous women wanting their companionship, but I'm just not aware of this. The picture you get is of girl/women groupies whose compassion extends from professional athletes to traditional entertainers. Any man with high status seems to be the target of their obsession.

The government bought off a revolution from black Americans by giving them the least amount of money necessary to quieten the movement. But who bought off our women? Someone tells them that people will think they are fuckable if the are skinny as scarecrows with silicon tits protruding like knots on a broom handle and they fall in line! Am I the only man in America that think women look great in running shoes and hiking shorts? I don't think so. Something is wrong here, but I have no idea what it is. But if some smart woman would figure this out, I think both sexes would be better off. And I think the sexes could relate better with this hypnotic delusion exposed and vaporized. I think women dress as they do so that men will look at them and think, "Hey, I sure would like to fuck her!" Maybe they think how nice it would be if the husband of a friend, a male friend of their husband, or just any desirable man would look at them and think, "Hey, I sure would like to fuck her!" So sure, women want to be fucked, but they also want to want to be fucked. But then again I don't know what they hell I'm talking about so there is a good chance I'm wrong.

I think women want to fuck men of high status, powerful men. And they think, "I'm so attractive that this powerful man wants to fuck me." But in reality, these guys want to fuck her because they can and she is someone different. I think men like to fuck women with beautiful bodies who give good head and make them feel like they are a wonderful lover. But even a beautiful body, good head and ego building cannot overcome the desire for change.

The Cooledge Effect says nothing about better looking, better in bed, smarter, whatever... it deals simply with someone different. If this is an unalterable fact, maybe we need to deal with it in the best possible way.

Maybe there should be a escort-kind of service that deals with "difference." Once a weeks the service will send over a different sex partner. If it only the man who needs this, then send only new partners for him. If the woman needs this, send in a new man. If approached in an unemotional way it could be a difference maker in many marriages. These partners aren't sent over "because my wife doesn't understand me," or my husband doesn't satisfy my needs, they are sent to fuck you--nothing else.
